3rd Global Day of Repentance – 4th of July – Independence Day

We invite you once again to join us in Repentance  on Saturday the 4th of July for our 3rd 24-hour Global Day of Repentance – Specifically Focusing on the United States of America and Praying, Repenting & Interceding for the USA during their Independence Day Celebrations.

The United States today is facing intense physical and spiritual battles because its people have not lived up the Mayflower Compact 400 years ago. That Compact was based on God’s Glory, His Presence, and His Covenant.  We have taken on other idols including ourselves. There have been days of prayer but the last day of humbling ourselves in national repentance was in 1918.

This is A Time to Confess Sins, Repent, and Intercede for the USA

Believers in Jesus Christ who see themselves as His Bride, and see Him as our soon-coming Bridegroom, will have another opportunity this coming Saturday July 4, 2020, together with nearly 700 other believers in 26 nations, to spend some time alone that day in their own time zone with the Lord, confessing personal and national sins, and repenting.

As any person repents, the Bride will be that much more cleansed, becoming more holy with less blemishes (Ephesians 5:25-27).

Based on earlier testimonies from those actually repenting during the past global days of repentance, joy and love for others will also grow in the process.

Each global day of repentance provides individuals with time for actual repentance, thereby cleansing from old sin strongholds.  The Bride, across nations and denominations, thereby moves in the direction of the early body of believers in Jerusalem who “were of one heart and one soul.” (Acts 4: 32)

Congratulations to our New President of Malawi – Rev Dr Lazarus Chakwera!!!

Voting day had finally arrived – 23rd of June 2020..!!!

And above expectations, it was a generally peaceful day as Malawians went to the Polls for the 2nd time to cast their vote for the Presidential Elections – after the courts have declared the votes from 21st May 2019 void due to corruption, and thus ordered New Elections within 150 days of the court ruling on the 3rd of February 2020..

The votes were counted and verified – and after a few long days of waiting – The Malawi Elections Commission has officially declared on the 27th of June that Rev Dr Lazarus Chakwera is the winner of the Presidential Elections 2020, with 58% of the votes..!!!

He beat the Former President Arthur Peter Mutharika with 1 million votes:   Rev Dr Chakwera received 2,6 million votes   vs   Former President Mutharika received 1,6 million votes.

President Chakwera was sworn in as the Next President of Malawi on Sunday the 28th of June 2020 in Lilongwe, and will be Inaugurated on the 6th of July 2020 during our Independence Day Celebrations of Malawi at the Bingu International Conference Center, in Lilongwe…

NATIONAL REPENTANCE MALAWI

INTER-DENOMINATIONAL  YOUTH  CONFERENCE

DATE:        MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2020

Theme:     Model Christian Youth  (1 Timothy 4:12, 2 Chronicles 7:14)

VENUE:   SYNAGOGUE CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLY, AREA 24, LILONGWE

An INTER-DENOMINATIONAL REPENTANCE YOUTH CONFERENCE is Planned for the 15th of June, in Lilongwe, for all the churches in Lilongwe, gathering at the Synagogue Christian Assembly.

We are planning to start at 8:00 and end with lunch for everyone at 13:00..!!!

Summary of Repentance Ministry Events: 28th May – 2nd June 2020

To God be all the Glory – We had such a great time in God’s Presence these past few days…!!!

We had planned a week-end of Repentance throughout Malawi over the week-end of 29th to 31st May – and included in our visits the chance of bringing change to pastor’s lives through the donations we have received from the Bridal Hope Chest / Glory Box initiative  started by Pastor Jeff Daly from National Day of Repentance and the Woman’s Repentance Group in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA.

But God had changed this into an even bigger event than what we have planned originally. As during these different Repentance meetings, we experienced God’s Presence and Glory, and we have seen many lives touched and changed. People are understanding the Power of repentance and intercession, and are praying more now than before, interceding for Malawi, and our upcoming elections and even the Covid-19 Pandemic.

We have created a video (see below) that summarizes the different events, featuring some of the lives that have been changed by the food distribution amongst various pastors in each district, who in return could help various members of their congregations. Thus touching many lives, and bringing back faith and hope and trust in God’s provision…!!!

PRESS STATEMENT – RE-OPENING OF SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ANNOUNCED

We have received the following Press Statement today, the 2nd of June 2020, from the Ministry of Education, Science & Technology in Lilongwe, that the National Task Force has been meeting to come up with strategies and conditions for the safe re-opening of Schools, Colleges and Universities by the 13th of July, 2020.

With the Re-Opening comes specific details and conditions, and this is to be announced after the Task Force has finalized all consultations.
